Models~What to Expect This Year

I have so many ideas coming to me here lately for editorial style photo shoots as well as advertisement shoots for a local dress shop. I will be getting everything planned out for every shoot and will post a list of models I have chosen for each shoot as well as what the shoot is based on and the time frame for when the shoots will be taking place. I will use the models who won the contest first but will be pulling others who participated with the closest number of votes. I know that most of the winners are looking to build a portfolio which is why I am taking this opportunity to use all of my creative ideas to create stunning, editorial style portraits for each and every one used in these shoots. Most of these shoots will be geared towards the older winners but I will make sure that some of these shoots will be able to incorporate some of the younger winners and contestants. I am also mentoring a high school senior for her senior project and her name is Mikayla so she will be with me during almost every shoot and even taking some images herself. Her images will be used for her project. All models are required to sign a model release or consent form that just gives permission to use all images for any advertisement or on any of my internet use (website, facebook, blog, etc). If you do not consent the images will not be used but please also be aware that I may not use you as much if I am not given permission to use the images to help advertise my photography. All shoots will have a few images posted to an album on facebook and then will have a private, password protected album so that you can see the images without them all being posted publicly. I hope that all of you are as excited as I am about this new venture this year as I have not had the opportunity to work with so many people that can help me explore and enhance my creativity. I cannot wait to kick off this year with a bang and I have so many great clients, models, and fans to help all of my dreams come true. Thank you so much for all of your continued support. I would like to have a get together with all of this year's models so that everyone can meet and get familiar with each other so that when you have to work together it won't be the first time you meet. I would like to do this sometime between now and before Christmas so as I get more details together I will announce everything. I look forward to all that will come from this coming year with all of you.

I will contact the winners when I need you for new sets and mentoring sessions and the shoots will be free for you and you will have the opportunity to buy the prints. New way to view proofs!

New to Heavenly Expressions Photography will be video sneak peeks from each session. I will begin only posting these on the blog and then combining images on facebook. I would like to make cumulative albums on my facebook page where there are not so many albums to go through in order to find a specific kind of image. I will post one to three images from a session and will upload a video slide show of more images for you to view from your session. I think that this will make it a little easier and more fun for each client to view your images. I hope that this works like I want it to and that you all find it to be better as well.
